Decorating With Neutrals For Christmas

Decorating With Neutrals For Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year! I feel like I BLINKED and Christmas showed up... time is flying so fast. Decorating my home is one of my favorite things to do during the holidays. From bright lights to beautiful greenery and different shades of neutrals, there is always so much to do. In fact, adding rustic touches with greenery and neutrals is what I did this year. I wanted to keep it simple and classy with the magic of Christmas shining through!
When it comes to adding greenery to spaces, don't be shy! I even add hints of garland and real fir around the hanging mugs in my kitchen. I think adding garland in unique places is really what brings Christmas to life. It's more festive when it's out of the ordinary! Speaking of mugs, how fun are these grinning Santas? They fit right in with my neutral theme.
I'm all about a pretty and clean neutral vibe for my holiday decor theme. I love adding whites, creams, beiges, and light browns around my home (with hints of green of course)! Another fun way to add greenery is to stuff a stocking or two with fir and pine cones like I did here!
If you have any empty pots or planters laying around, they are perfect for holding all types of festive greenery. I have lots of these little guys on hand thanks to my thrifting adventures, so I try and fill as many as I can to spruce up spaces in my home. It's a good way to not only save money when decorating, but also to showcase more fir, cedar, or evergreen!
