OTM Holiday Punch + Praline Recipes
I wish I had a DOLLAR for each time these recipes are requested! Both of them have been my GO TO’S for as long as I have had a shop. They have become a tradition at our holiday events and I LOVE that YOU LOVE them!
First the cookies. Okay… I classed the name up a tad... most of you know this as Christmas Crack! We affectionately call them Graham Cracker Pralines. Honestly, I didn’t know the "crack" thing until like a few years ago and it totally makes sense! These are addicting and delicious!! Not to mention EASY!!
Graham Cracker Pralines Recipe
Graham crackers (plain)
2 sticks of butter
1/2 c. dark brown sugar (light brown sugar may be used)
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts (I use pecans mostly)
Directions: Line your cookie sheet with the graham crackers. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a pan. Let the butter and sugar boil for 3 minutes. Toss in the nuts (optional) into the pan. Pour the mixture over the graham crackers and spread with a spatula for even coverage... but work fast! Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. Enjoy!
Secondly is the punch! I love hearing your guesses as to what you think is in it. You do really good until the last “secret” ingredient that makes all the difference.....the frozen limeade! Yep!! Jazz it up with cut-up fruit of your choice and you will amaze your guests. All measurements in the recipe are full-size bottles. Also easy to double if necessary.
Marketplace Holiday Punch
Mix the following:
1 bottle cranberry juice
1 bottle pineapple juice
1 bottle sprite
1 can frozen limeade
1 can frozen lemonade
Fresh cranberries + limes to garnish
*PSSST... you can easily kick your party up a notch by adding let’s say rum or vodka!
